Biodiversity Solutions Ltd (BSL) is an ENVIRONMENT and SUSTAINABILITY consultancy firm bringing together exceptionally well qualified environmental scientists, ecologists, sociologists and natural resources management specialists with vast experience in applied science. BSL strives to help clients deliver applied solutions to managing threats, risks and impacts to biodiversity, ecosystem services and natural resources to achieve sustainable development. Where appropriate, we apply principles and approaches of Community Based Natural Resources Management (CBNRM), Ecosystem-Based Management (EBM) and Integrated Natural Resources Management (INRM) to further ensure project acceptance, sustainability, and completeness. We are based in Kampala Uganda.
Through our vast expertise and experience, we provide a wide range of pragmatic and supportive services to clients by contextualizing projects and understanding our client’s expectations. We have developed very reliable global professional networks and affiliations that bring to the team international experience and knowledge especially of highly specialized facets, and of environment and social international best practices such as International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance standards and World Bank Safeguard policies. We also partner with other consulting firms both local and international to achieve project and programme objectives as and when required.
